Hello, I’m Álvaro, a veterinarian and founder of After Life Vets.
Throughout my career, I’ve always been certain that farewells deserve to be handled with the same care as welcomes. After years working in Spain, France, and England, I decided to create After Life Vets with a very simple mission:
Helping families say goodbye to their animal companions at home, with the calm, respect and privacy that this moment deserves.
Currently, I personally see clients in Catalonia, especially in the provinces of Barcelona and Girona.
Although I can’t always be in every province, I have trusted veterinarians who share the same approach and values that inspire this project. Each family receives close support, directly supervised by me, to ensure that everything unfolds calmly and respectfully.
In my free time I enjoy long walks in nature with my dogs, where I continue to learn every day from their simple and honest way of being in the world.
After Life Vets is not just a service, it’s a way of caring, accompanying, and being present when most needed.
